Latest Happenings

Where to start.
Apollo is now in Fort madison. He is staying at a stable there. Sunday the temp reached almost 60 degrees at noon. By 2:30 the temp fell to 37. At 3:00PM we were waiting for the truck that was transporting Apollo. It started raining, then sleeting, and lastly downpouring. Apollo loaded well. He went half in the trailer right from the start. Luckily the rain stopped while we were loading him. It started raining again after he left. When the truck bought the trailer back at 6:00Pm, the truck had ice buildup on it. It rained the rest of the night.

I had the tire fixed on the van. It was covered by road side hazard. Cost half of a new tire. Installed a new blend air relay for the heater in the van. It is nice having heat in the van when the temp falls to 1.8 degrees.

Tried to start the tractor last night. The battery is weak, I may have to jump it to start it. Snow is falling as I type.

The goats are adjusting well to being under the lean to. No baby goats. I don't think they were breed. Guess I'll wait to have them deliver in the spring. Well, that's how it is on the farm.
